SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our Financial Transaction Portal is SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted and secured. We contract with well-known and established third party service providers that are skilled at securing information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. Your information is secured on computer servers in controlled, and secured environments, protected from unauthorized access or use. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted and protected using SSL encryption protocol…several measures are taken to ensure the security of your payment data:

  • Microsoft Azure; is a highly available, cloud-based, and secure hosting environment. This environment is both BAA (HIPAA) and PCI (DSS) level 1 compliant, and you can find the full list of compliance offerings here
  • Our payment processor (Stripe) is PCI level 1 compliant. Stripe has been audited and certified by a PCI-certified auditor. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, the best-in-class security tools and practices are implemented to maintain this high level of security at Stripe. You can find Stripe’s full list of compliance here.
  • All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allow list. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and does not share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).

Learn more about their security in Stripe’s documentation.
