The Ride ATL, LLC ("The Ride ATL," "we," "us") provides chauffeured transportation in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding areas. This policy explains what information we collect through www.therideatl.com, by phone, email and text message, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, mobile phone number and email address.
  • Trip details: pick-up and drop-off locations, dates and times, flight numbers, passenger and luggage counts, and special requests.
  • Messaging records: your text-message consent (what you agreed to, when and how) and the messages we exchange with you.
  • Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Website chat: if you use our AI concierge chat, the messages you type and any trip and contact details you choose to share.
  • Basic technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and site operation.

How we use it

  • To prepare quotes, confirm and fulfill reservations, and dispatch chauffeurs.
  • To send informational messages you requested: confirmations, arrival notices, trip updates and customer care replies.
  • To send promotional messages only if you separately opted in to them.
  • To provide customer support, keep records, and meet legal obligations.

Mobile information and text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate our messaging service (such as our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers), solely to deliver the messages you requested.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • with the chauffeur assigned to your trip;
  • with service providers who help us run our business (booking, payment, messaging, email, website hosting, and the AI provider that powers our website chat), under obligations to protect it and use it only for our services;
  • when required by law, or to protect the safety of our passengers, chauffeurs or the public.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal and accounting obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information online.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a revised effective date.
